How We Work

Hours of Operations

We work with all of our clients to determine a mutually agreeable schedule. Should you need to contact us outside of normal working hours, someone is always monitoring emails and will respond back within 24 hours from 9am-5pm EST / Monday-Friday.


When you purchase a package from us, we commit and reserve time to serve you.  Our commitment to you affects how we work with our other clients. For that reason, we don’t offer refunds.

Sharing Passwords

We securely exchange passwords using LastPass. We ask that our clients set up an account so that they can securely share their passwords with us. Please share passwords with:

Payment & Invoicing 

All payments for services are paid upfront using a credit card. Invoices are sent electronically prior to your service. All services are prepaid and work will proceed once payment is received.


We take your confidentiality very seriously and can confirm no information will be divulged to a third party. All documentation sent to us will be returned upon completion. 


In the event that you need to change or cancel your scheduled meeting, we require 24-hour notice. We will provide the same courtesy.

Our Process

Turn Around Times

Project and task turnarounds vary depending on the specific requirements. We conduct weekly client meetings to review work completed and map out next steps on the timeline. You will have full visibility into when you can expect projects and tasks to be completed. If you make changes to the original task or project, the amount of time required to complete the project is subject to change.

Project Management Tools

We manage your project with Notion. We will provide you access to your own personalized client page in Notion. This will allow you easy access to all important documents, tasks, meeting notes, timelines, and more.

Let's Get Started

The Discovery Call

The first step is a complimentary 20-minute session to gain an understanding of your needs and assess whether our services are a good fit for your business. We are interested in learning about where you are in your business. What are your strengths? What are your pain points?

Based on our discovery call, we will send you a custom proposal for a Strategy Session where we will brainstorm how to take your company to the next desired level. 


The Strategy Session

This is where we collaborate to dig deeper into the areas of your company you would like to improve. Our Strategy Session consists of an initial 60 minute call with Karla & Lisa where we perform an audit of your daily operations, marketing strategies, automations, metrics, and more.  After 2 weeks we will meet again for a 60 minute presentation to deliver your customized strategic blueprint. 

This is when you will decide if you want to take the blueprint and implement the strategies we outline on your own or if you would like for K&L Performance Management to use their extensive expertise to oversee and lead your team to the next level. We will then provide you with a personalized proposal for our ongoing Performance Management retainer service which will outline how we will help you achieve your long term strategical goals.

Performance Management Retainer

Now that we have established a long term relationship our leadership kicks into high-gear and we start making the changes we outlined in the blueprint. Our approach is two-pronged. We will work toward improving the performance of your business operations as well as your marketing in order to actualize growth in your business and attain your goals.


In order to optimize your business operations, we will work with you to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) allowing you to automate and eventually hand over responsibilities to your team. Your team will be able to follow these detailed step by step documents that map out exactly how to execute routine tasks. 

In addition, we will work with you to optimize and grow your marketing efforts. We will map out your revenue potential as well as create a marketing budget. We will then get to work launching and managing your new marketing efforts that will ultimately help you reach your financial goals.
